20241120_122201AliceGTA Nowcast,Hello! First off, feedback on the feedback form... it keeps disappearing as I type in it! I think it disappears every time the data reloads. Noticed a strange thing with the wind profiler. We are in a low-IFR stratus situation at YYZ. Winds within the boundary layer are light, but at the top it shows 40-50kt winds!! 20221201_200754Daniel Liota1. Enable auto update. 2. Hodograph presentation appears squished at times and hard to read. It would be great to colour code the hodograph according to height as they do in SHARPpy software. Some modifications to their colour scheme may be beneficial given the lower atmospheric sampling with lidars (i.e., 0-0.5 km = purple, 0.5-1 km = red, 1-3 km = green, 3-6 km = yellow). 3. One is unable to step back and forth in frames when using the hodograph viewer without it animating through. 4. Bulk shear would be most useful to forecasters (at least on the public side) when calculated from 0-0.5 km, 0-1 km, 0-3 km, etc. Considering the lower atmospheric sampling, a total shear calculation is also useful. 5.
